My project report
In these project cooperation, my position is a brand strategist, mainly responsible for supervising the work and organizing working meetings, assigning everyone’s tasks, making and modifying the design of the work, and speaking about the project summary and project display.
When we first started working together, we showed and introduced each other’s works, learned about each other’s strengths and designs, and then found the common features of our design works and remixed them. At the beginning, each of us didn’t know each other, so when we assigned roles and tasks, everyone was embarrassed or shy, so we just mentioned everyone’s idea of mixed design, but there was no actual progress.
Learning the lessons from the first meeting, I prepared my ideas in advance, and based on the opinions of everyone in the first meeting, I predicted the work structure and work progress, and designed the specific tasks that need to be completed in the post. At the second meeting, I took the initiative to bring up all my ideas, led the team members to brainstorm, and based on everyone’s opinions, I became a brand strategist. We made actual progress in this conference. We canceled the idea of live exhibition, because our reading audience is black people all over the world. If it is an offline exhibition, the number of exhibitions will be limited in time and place, so we decided to use Remix design for online exhibitions. And the students in our group are good at using tools for web design, so I decided to use the website for project remix display.
In the design and design work, I participated in the work meeting of the team members. I participated in the design opinions to the web designers. I think that the online and offline will improve everyone’s work efficiency and the summary of cooperation. The way of distance communication has given us many new ideas, such as integrating visual elements in everyone’s work, designing posters, etc., and finding a lot of popular energy. We actually encountered some problems in the process of practice, such as: Each of us has different design styles, e-books, videos, and design fonts. How to design the website so that these different styles of works will not be visually confused. It was later discovered that everyone’s work had modern black and white geometric elements. So we designed a main minimalist website with a black and white structure. The homepage of the website is our title and four eye-catching and simple works link pictures.
In the promotion work, I put the QR code of the website on the poster, and posted the printed posters in places with high traffic: the entrance of the student apartment and the entrance of the elevator, and the wall of the smoking area in the supermarket. In this way, our publicity is not only through Instagram and tiktok online media, but also through offline to attract people’s attention.
In the finishing work of the project, I collected and integrated everyone’s design drafts and project opinions, summarized everyone’s work results, independently wrote project speeches and publicity ppts, and gave presentations on behalf of Group 05A in the speech meeting.
